A short recap of AMAA 2018

On 11th and 12th of September 2018 I held a presentation of our paper “Towards a Privacy-Preserving Way of Vehicle Data Sharing – A Case for Blockchain Technology?” at the 22nd International Forum on Advanced Microsystems for Automotive Applications (AMAA 2018) in Berlin. The automotive conference organized by VDI/VDE hosted talks by representatives of some automotive big players like Bosch, AVL, Infineon, TomTom, Vedecom, and Ideas & Motion, talking about autonomous driving, electric vehicles and vehicle data services. Furthermore, related challenges for reaching the next SAE levels and ongoing research projects have been shown, highlighted by a demonstration of Easymile’s Automated Shuttle Bus.
