    abstract="Vehicle data is a valuable source for digital services, especially with a rising degree of driving automatization. Despite regulation on data protection has become stricter due to Europe's GDPR we argue that the exchange of vehicle and driving data will massively increase. We therefore raise the question on what would be a privacy-preserving way of vehicle data exploitation? Blockchain technology could be an enabler, as it is associated with privacy-friendly concepts including transparency, trust, and decentralization. Hence, we launch the discussion on unsolved technical and non-technical issues and provide a concept for an Open Vehicle Data Platform, respecting the privacy of both the vehicle owner and driver using Blockchain technology.",

    abstract="A modern vehicle is a ``computer on four wheels'' equipped with many different types of sensors. The so enabled continuous collection of vehicle lifecycle data facilitates the generation of innovative products, services and business models. In analogy to the Quantified-Self-movement, the USA has already evolved a plethora of Quantified Car startup companies backed by enormous amounts of risk capital, reaching more than 20 million USD in some cases. These developments clearly demonstrate how high investors perceive the market value of a working digital ecosystem for Quantified Car. This paper provides an introduction into the Quantified-Car-phenomenon and analyses the business models of three different Quantified-Car-startups: Automatic, Mojio, and Dash. One major finding is that their use cases, services and underlying technologies show many similarities. The paper closes with a discussion on the increasing competition between the players from the ICT and the automotive domain on the supremacy in the development of a digital ecosystem for Quantified Car.",

    abstract="Im Kontext der ,,Industrie 4.0`` werden Datenbrillen h{\"a}ufig als innovative Endger{\"a}te angef{\"u}hrt, weil sie gro{\ss}e Potenziale besitzen, die Informationsversorgung bei der Arbeit zu verbessern, ohne den Produktionsmitarbeiter in seiner Bewegungsf{\"a}higkeit einzuschr{\"a}nken. So k{\"o}nnen Datenbrillen dazu genutzt werden, Checklisten und Arbeitsanweisungen direkt an der Maschine oder am Werkst{\"u}ck digital abzuarbeiten bzw. auszuf{\"u}hren, ohne dabei die H{\"a}nde zur Eingabe an einer Tastatur zu benutzen. In aktuellen Projekten ist dabei beabsichtigt, aus dem Consumer-Bereich stammende leistungsf{\"a}hige und dabei vergleichsweise kosteng{\"u}nstige Datenbrillen im Produktions- bzw. Serviceumfeld zu verwenden. Doch derzeit existieren nur wenige empirische Studien, bei denen diesbez{\"u}glich entwickelte Demonstratoren systematisch mit Nutzern evaluiert wurden, um empirisch {\"u}berpr{\"u}fbare Erkenntnisse hinsichtlich Anwendungspotenzial und Akzeptanz von Datenbrillen zu gewinnen. Vor diesem Hintergrund wurde eine datenbrillengest{\"u}tzte Checkliste f{\"u}r die Fahrzeugmontage als Demonstrator entwickelt und gemeinsam mit Fachexperten aus der Automotive-Dom{\"a}ne empirisch untersucht. Die Ergebnisse haben gezeigt, dass Datenbrillen durchaus {\"u}ber ein Nutzenpotenzial verf{\"u}gen, wenngleich ihr Einsatz gegenw{\"a}rtig noch mit bedeutenden Nachteilen aus Sicht der Nutzer verbunden ist. Der Beitrag leitet eine Reihe an Nutzeranforderungen ab, um Nutzungsm{\"o}glichkeiten von Datenbrillen weiter zu verbessern. ",

Die AVL List GmbH ist das weltweit gr{\"o}{\ss}te unabh{\"a}ngige Unternehmen f{\"u}r Entwicklung, Simulation und Pr{\"u}ftechnik von Antriebssystemen f{\"u}r PKW, LKW und Gro{\ss}motoren. Sie steht heute mehr denn je vor der Herausforderung, aktuelle und k{\"u}nftige Trends rund um CPS erfolgreich in eigene Produkte und Services zu integrieren. Der Beitrag erl{\"a}utert nach einer Beschreibung der wesentlichen sozio-technischen Konzepte rund um CPS und Industrie 4.0, warum es in Organisationen wie der AVL zu Ver{\"a}nderungen kommen muss.
